If you read the comments it seems that it is going to be comparatively more expensive than the US or UK stores.. but at least its there now, and sorts out the copyright law mess that was this story..

ITUNEs....bloody hell have you not heard of seedler or pirate bay or even BIttorent i,e filesharing, which I dont condone are promote but some people say its very good and its free.....

I was signed up to UK Itunes from Aus wiht my uk credit card its 79p a track.

Aussie Itunes is 70p converted at 2.4

Im paying for my music now. Having been a kazaa/napster junky from the early days I am now going straight. It has been 950 days since my last rip.

I can afford it and cant' be assed to fight spyware and viral infections for the sake of saving a few quid on music , plus most of what I want is instantly available at good recording quality instead of waiting for some bitttorrent or kazaa download from some teenagers PC somewhere in albequerque.

...of course, but this is a legal method and much simpler for this with neither the time or inclination (and possibly too much spare $ ) to get the music. I dont use iTunes myself as it does not work correctly with my server (ephPod does the job instead) but I expect a lot of people do..

I'm happy to pay for legimate music and Itunes is an excellent bit of kit. E music is the future and without legitimate purchases they quality will suffer.

Although other manufacturers may offer superior hardware the software is very hard to beat - that and I use an Apple Mac so there I like white anyway!!

This is cheaper than the UK Itunes so I will be using this from now on.
