We stay inside when it is too hot - I don't have air-con, just ceiling fans so on really hot days I try to get to a pool or else go to the supermarket to cool off! But it doesn't get to 40 here...

My other half's a carpenter and he was earning £30 an hour on the Gold Coast self employed and now he earns $27 an hour as an employee, working more in the North Rivers/Tweed area. He loves it and...
