My employer (consulting company) is still in talks with PIF. They are negotiating the costs of converting me to FTE. Been almost since days since PIF approached me about being FTE.

Guys, I accepted the offer a 3 months ago, and been a consultant (contractor) at PIF for just over 2 months. Yestery they offer me to be a full time employee.

Has anyone gone through this process?...

Taurus85's question - is transportation allowance a right in KSA?

I am a consultant at PIF for the moment and my employer does not pay/cover my transportation to and from work.

Could anyone tell me if that is a right or a negotiable item in a contract?

I am concerned some apps I use (.e.g. Dropbox) will not be accessible through normal channels...

@Laguna - this ballpark figure, is just the base salary in SAR or the full package (base+housing+bonus*)?

*seems that one should never count on bonuses in GCC

From first interview to offer, it took me 3 months, then a week or so of back and forth negotiating starting date and a bit of a bump in the base salary.

I received an offer from PIF 2 weeks ago and after some back and forth, I got them to bump it by 6.6%.

Is it odd that I received a contract to sign, but only now they are asking for a degree...

I got my offer to work at PIF last week, received the contract today. The whole process from first contact to offer took 3 months.

To keep things "alive" I would send a email to the recruiter...
