Re: Faro - Lagos Bus

My mistake. They do have a service that stops there - but it must be from somewhere else. However, if the OP googles their site, he should find all the info, including where to pick up the bus.

Re: Faro - Lagos Bus

Sportpix,

The Flixbus service goes from Lagos to Faro, stopping at the airport. It leaves Lagos from somewhere called Largo do Rossio I think - but if you just google it, you should find the...

Re: Driving licence expiring

Thank you - I wasn’t sure whether we were able to use the Loja do Cidade in a different tow. I will give it a try.

Re: LONG TERM PARKING AT FARO ?

Yes that’s right. They email you a QR code to scan on the way in. Then assuming you return in the allotted time, the barrier automatically lets you out.

We booked online and it worked well,. I think you can just turn up - but of course there is always a risk it might be full.

Silves is lovely - definitely worth a look. Tavira in summer is like a zoo.

Re: Incompetence of MEO

It’s a strange world. We tried and failed to get Lazer. Although our neighbours have it, when we asked, Lazer said that it would be too difficult to extend it to us at present….weird. So MEO it...

Re: Couple hoping to move to Malta, advice gratefully received!

Isn't it extraordinary how many people think its perfectly ok to ask a question here - then never pay the rest of us the courtesy of replying - or even returning to the thread!

Re: Couple hoping to move to Malta, advice gratefully received!

I'd love to offer you encouragement as Malta was a lovely place to live once and still special to visit. However to live and work there as a foreigner you would have needed to move at least 10 years...

Re: Overcrowding

We loved it when we first lived there nearly 20 years ago but unfortunately it changed and not for the better - so we had to leave. The roads are one solid traffic jam and the building industry is...

Re: Customs

I have friends in Australia who would not listen to my warnings about sending me parcels for my birthday. The first parcel arrived and was detained by the 'Alfandango' so I then began the business of...

Re: LONG TERM PARKING AT FARO ?

Exactly - nice to have your own car waiting. Still a bit concerned however that the barrier went up before we had a chance to scan on the way out - hope we are not going to receive a huge bill! Car...

Re: LONG TERM PARKING AT FARO ?

Thanks Sportpix - we tried it out a few weeks ago and it worked well. We needed to scan on the way in but on the way out the barrier opened automatically.

Re: LONG TERM PARKING AT FARO ?

Has anyone used the long term parking at Faro Airport? We are thinking of using P3 or P4. P3 doesn't appear to be available for booking online which could be a bit risky. P4 seems to be in the...
