I recently applied for citizenship, did the whole application online & took all of about 15 mins. Cost AU$120.

Once lodged you then get a message to phone...

Sorry to say no flyscreens are secure, no matter how super duper the spec, the locks are still crap and easily defeated.

Well. as my ID would suggest I am a locksmith, and as such see all sorts ! From houses locked up to the eyeballs to places with nothing at all, even close to the city I came across once expensive...

You will need to get a scrip, and most definately you pay for the kids medicines, and it's expensive unless you qualify for a heathcare card.

My mother came out 6 months after we arrived and it was a mistake, unsettled my wife no end. I would advise anyone to try and get at least a year before you have close family / friends come and stay....

Sounds like a dangerous level of borrowing to me, I had something similair here in SA and ran like hell, a few % on the interest rate and I would have been well and truly in the poo ......... ...

I have to be a citizen before they can confirm the appointment, that is they can let me know - yes the jobs yours but they can't actually sign the paperwork until I become a citizen .

In terms of the required post qualification (deeming date) experience then you are probably in trouble, but a good agent would tell you if that is the case.
