Re: Do we have enough money to move?

Re: Mortgage - while still in the UK?

I would wait until you get here. Canadian property prices are verging on a collapse and rates are incredibly cheap. Also, you need to explore a bit before finding the right area for you - we moved 3...

Re: Should I move back to the UK?

On the cost of living side, rent is certainly getting cheaper in Toronto and there are hundreds of 1 bed places for rent now that Airbnb is dead. You could keep making low ball offers until someone...

I completed my PR application on Monday and got my invitation today (Thursday). Is that normal? Or, is it quicker because of Covid and I'm already living and working in Canada?

Also, as I'm...

Re: Enrolment on arrival for Nexus

I find immigration better at Terminal 3. I don't know if there's any reason for that, but when I go through T1 there is always a problem, T3 has always been smoother.

Re: Moving to BC as an artist

On arrival you'll be asked if you have any support. If you don't, someone will be assigned to carry out grocery shopping etc for you and deliver it to you. If you have somewhere to stay you can...

Re: Canada Post

Every time I go to Canada Post I'm shocked at how much it costs for such a poor service! I normally go for a drink afterwards to get over it!
