We came over last year with Qantas on a one way ticket stopped over for a 25 day holiday in Africa on route and definately had 40kg each

It's not always cheaper to book with specialist travel agents or companies

I spent ages contacting them via telephone and the internet, checking out prices then Qantas came up about £600.00...

Make sure wherever you go on safari they have the "big five" - some of the smaller game farms don't have and if its once in a life time trip...........

How you thought of using the "on arrival accomodation"? its basic but furnished. You can use it for upto 12 weeks and its really cheap.
