Re: Carrefour home delivery

I have received home delivery from Carrefour with a gmail.com address.
The Carrefour App was terrible but seems to be very reliable now and their Club Carrefour card has great offers.

Re: Pedro Sánchez announces General Election for Sunday 23 July

I don't think that Puigdemont has anything to do with Bildu.

It's PSOE by the way. Partido Socialista Obrero Español

Fascinating situation though.

Re: Castral value of UK property

Fair comment. I'll contact my letting agent tomorrow and tell them that unless my tenant specifically agrees to my disclosing their NI to the Spanish tax authorities ( with whatever dire consequences...

Re: Castral value of UK property

Yes, it seems we are in the same position. If I were taxed in the UK ( but I'm not) then I would ask Hacienda or a competent Gestor what to do.

Re: Castral value of UK property

That's an interesting thought regarding disclosing your tenant's NI number. When I complete my Spanish Modulo 100 and fill in the part about my UK rental income (Rentas Inmuebles), in order to claim...

Re: Spanish Income Tax Model Calculations

My situation was that I'd been a Spanish resident for years but had maintained my mother's UK address for the UK bank. When she died, and I gave the bank my Spanish address and that caused them to...

Re: Spanish Income Tax Model Calculations

Is it possible that your UK bank notified Hacienda? When I became UK non-resident, my UK bank wanted details of my Spanish tax code.

Re: Watching Premier League on official provider DAZN

They only broadcast the few Championship matches picked by SKY so tend to focus on famous teams in or near the playoff spots. Leeds and Forest will be featured heavily next season I guess.

The...

Re: Watching Premier League on official provider DAZN

You get all Premier League matches live and they are then held on the platform for a few days so you can watch the ones you missed. There is a spoiler system for these matches which lets you go...

Re: Watching Premier League on official provider DAZN

Yes, I've been a subscriber to their 'essential' package for the last two years. The commentary is only in Spanish and the co-coms analysis isn't up to much.
I think it's good value for money when...

Re: Voting in Spanish municipal elections 2023

The CTT option didn't work for me either, but after going round in circles I finally found the digital certificate option and have my justificante.

Re: Made me laugh

Parsnips(Chirivias) can be found autumn and winter at El Corte Inglés supermarkets in Madrid. I was told that they are grown for animal feed here in Spain but that seems such a waste.
Some years ago...

Re: Rewilding eastern Spain

Re: Selling a second hand car

That would be logical but there is no clear definition of a hidden defect. For example, a part on my alternator failed last summer and although the consequence was a sudden...

Re: Selling a second hand car

Thanks for that information. I've read through it but can't find where it says 'defects which aren't expected of a car of this age'

What would happen if the clutch on a 16 year old car failed five...

Selling a second hand car

I'm going to buy a new car soon and the trade-in price for my 16 year old car is practically nothing although it has service history, low mileage and is in good condition.

A friend is interested...

Re: UK + EU pension....?

Brexit won't affect your right to a UK state pension.

I think the confusion was whether you would continue to receive an annual pension increase. For the moment the situation is yes.
