Adelaide is very laid back and has a much slower pace of life compared to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The population is much smaller and Aussies often joke about it being "a big country town". ...

London to Singapore is the hard bit... anywhere between 12-14 hours. Singapore to Sydney/Melbourne/whereever in Oz usually takes 7-9 hours but it depends on which part of Oz you are flying to.

We sent ours off on 26 April to Greater Manchester Police, which they received on 27 April. We received the clearance certificate on 12 May, so that only took 16 days.

Yep, I can confirm this too as my other half had his medical in Manchester TODAY. You must fill in Form 26 beforehand (only available from AHC in London) and take it with you... and it clearly asks...
