Re: Winter storm Juno

Same here - can't be arsed going out cleaning it until the snow has stopped and the wind has died down.

Reckon we've got about 24" with drifts up to car roof height - Proper weather :p

Used to be that if you stayed out until you were 55 then they wrote it off... Things may well have changed though

Re: Quiet this morning..

Ha! We used to get the same thing in the UK. We had a colony of sparrows living in the hedge in the back garden and they were noisy buggers most of the time in a good way. Living in St Albans we had...

Re: Super Bowl 2015

Pats look fairly unstoppable to me. I hate to say that as all the locals will be unbearable but it might be nice to be sucked up in the atmosphere. Closest I'll get to it as a Bears fan for a few...

Re: 'Ordanance Survey' maps???

Cracking info as usual, thanks! I'll chase all those down.

We're not that close to Lincoln but it's certainly within driving distance so we'll give it a go too.

Re: maybe its an age thing but there seems so much red tape!

On a slightly different note: there was a really good buyers guide posted in an old thread I found before Xmas. I don't suppose anyone has a link or can remember where it was please? It looked like a...

Re: So, what did you guys do for New Years?
