What's your poison?

Re: What's your poison?
We were in the Yard House in Dedham, MA last night and I had a nice vanilla porter and a Jack Abby's stout from a choice of easily 150 beers!

Another of the craft beers I got for the holidays was Baba Organic Black Lager, from Utah. I do like a black lager, but this one isn't just black, it tastes like the malt was burned before it was brewed. It tastes like beer made from ash, not toasted malt. It's not undrinkable, but I won't be buying it again.
I have never noticed, but perhaps that's because when I came over, 13 years ago, Sam Adams was just about the only alternative to Bud, Miller, Coors, and Yingling, which from memory have a progressively worse aftertaste in that order. I still buy Sam Adams from time to time, so I will be looking out for an after taste.

Will do Bob thanks. Perhaps next week in between house hunting and before I start work
