Another which you may want to consider, number of previous owners, isnt of any importance in Oz.

Exactly, there is a portion on the 30c ( contract of sale ) to disclose to buyers if there are neighbourhood disputes.

By calling the cops, you are just reporting a trespass matter.

not sure if salt does, it can cause effloresence and lime bloom. But most pools are fully tiled, or concrete. I have seen on one of our pools, lime type deposits in a line down from skimmer box, but...
