For points purposes, what is relevant is your work experience within 10 years at the time of invitation.

A degree in physics would generally not have sufficient ICT content for the purposes of an ACS skills assessment.

The ACS normally relies on the evidence you submitted when listing your work experience in the result letter. If you think they've made an error, it is probably a good idea to take this up with them...
