As long as security can see through it on the x-ray it should be fine.

This is the policy in Canada, can't see the UK being much different.

You guys are hilarious. There is no "list" when you tell a CATSA Screener that the rules are stupid. They hear it all day, everyday.

The screening position might just be casual as it's a small airport. At YVR it's 24/7/365. Do you have a full RAIC? That might go in your favour if you choose to apply.

Rocky suuuuuucks. I worked there before, they pay barely above minimum wage and they treat their station staff badly.

It's really easy. Do the practice tests / read (or listen to) the book and you'll be fine.
