We're flying from Manchester to Goa; just finished packing, which was a nightmare as we're restricted to 15kg each and couldn't increase the luggage...

Thank you for the link Remy, I totally agree with Ryan Lobo and must admit I was bitterly disappointed when I visited Goa in 1991 to see the Goa of my childhood changed almost beyond recognition.

Phil, thanks for the details. I've been in touch with Bharat Trust and hope to go in with all my documents sometime next week. I enquired if I could apply for my husband's PIO card at the same time...

Thanks everyone, I have deceided I will apply for a OCI, once that's granted we will apply for John's PIO card.
