Hello everyone
I have not posted for sometime as things with us have taken a dramatic turn.
Some of you may recall our house was up for sale; we were due to fly to Goa on 22nd September to purchase a property but that had to be cancelled and we are currently claiming the fare from our insurance.
My husband, John, was suddenly and unexpectedly, diagnosed with cancer and had a major operation two days before we were due to fly out. He will now have to have chemotherapy for 6 months and continual checkups for the next 5 years.
This means that, unfortunately, we have had to put our Goa plans on hold for at least 5 years.
We are both bitterly disappointed but glad in a way that John’s illness was discovered early.
I will watch your posts from time to time and wish all of you luck in your move to Goa.
Regards
Libby
