If it makes you feel better we've now rented two houses (in Welly). One said pets negotiable and the other said no pets. I think a lot of agencies say no pets as standard even if the previous tenant...

We were told that there was no pet insurance in NZ so didn't even look in to getting ours insured when we arrived - I will now though! Thanks for pointing this out... :D

Unfortunately Pampers aren't sold in shops - only from the website in Auckland! We've resorted to ordering them online as we were having similar problems (nappy rash being worse than it's ever been)....

We're all British Citizens. I'm currently pregnant with our second child but will be registering him/her as a BC too - infact I'm not sure that you have a lot of choice...
