I bought 2 adult bikes and 1 kids one in Brisbane (Strathpine) and I remember them to be very good value, good bikes they were as well! Would def have cost more here.

Visit as many cheap coastal resorts in the UK as possible and go into lots of those really tacky gift shops. Buy lots of nasty souvenier type things like fake crystals and frilly...

If applying for a spouse visa make sure you do not fall for a slapper/player (delete as required)! Ensure that they know what the following words mean: faithful, honesty, integrity, decency ;)

Not really - if the exchange rate stays the same or goes down then there would be no tax to pay. You would only be paying tax on any *gains* you might make on the fluctuations of the exchange rate.

I flew with them a few weeks back from Heathrow to Brisbane. Becasue I am nearly 6" 5' I fly business class unless it is a shortish flight. I can honestly say I was REALLY dissapointed with Cathay.
