Duck down!!
Hello all,
maybe a stupid question but I have not asked one in a while so here goes
I am wanting to pack 2 duvets (doonars??) that contain duck feathers, is this allowed through customs with no probs?

Quarantine site states all feathers need to be declared. Whether they let it in or not is another story.

Thanks for the info, of course..... I will declare everything, I am guessing they should be OK as loads of people seem to be taking duvets along - unless of course they all contain synthetic fillers?

Yes you can bring your duck feather doona into Oz. It may need to be sprayed. Thats according to this website.
