We did both gas and electric thru Enmax - no deposit and no issues - just supplied bank details for them to withdraw monthly!

We used Fox International - superb service and we got a pretty good price. All good this end - one hiccup was contractor this end waited a week to tell us it had arrived then said we needed to pay...

We used Abrams & Krochak (search for AKCanada) in Toronto - exemplary service, would recommend them any time.
Good luck with however you decide to proceed.

Personally, they were worth every cent,...

Nope no ot for me - am salaried and a supervisor (and the parent corporation is American!).
Tend to do more hours than I should but hey, better in a job than out. Just keep looking for open doors...

Don't let the panic mongers scare you with the 5k car insurance. Shop around a bit, yes it's not cheap but you can get a company that will take your UK discount and accept a UK credit check - we did...

We used an Immigration Lawyer in Toronto (Abrams & Krochak), and are happy we did. Yes you still have to get the evidence etc together, but the forms are bullet proof as is their introduction...

Also finally arrived!!

A little late (a week to be exact) to say "we finally arrived" but hey, so much to do. We are in Cochrane Alberta, and loving every minute!

We arrive in Calgary on 17th March - have a hire car for 2 weeks, so will be handing it back around when u arrive :P
Hopefully will have a car sorted so will let you know how we fare :)

We didn't buy our tickets until we had exchanged contracts. Risky to do anything before tbh as at least if they back out after you have a course of action. We managed to get a 3 month short term...

We aren't having a container - we aren't taking enough stuff so are going for groupage but we are using Fox International - best rate of all the ones I checked and were easier to deal with straight...
