ECAS now shows "Decision Made", and having received the request for passport photos yesterday, feel reasonably confident that our long wait may be over.

Says on the website that - 'PM sent asking for update 26-Apr.' We did not get any private message so can't reply to it. However, we have nothing to add to our information.....sadly.

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Many thanks Siouxie for understanding how frustrating it is. Having been 'blatantly discriminated against' (their words not mine) by the Harper goverment for six years, you can well understand why...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Gommsta,
Under two months " in process" would be some sort of record BUT you were lucky enough to be allocated to Ottawa and not London so anything is possible.
The rest of us have to wait for the...

Re: London Office + Family Visas anyone have a clue

I do sympathise with you Bexleybuttler, as our application was received 4th August and processing started 6th October. I think the problem is not knowing what is happening when you see others who...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Dropping an email seems pointless as they admit in advance that it will not be acknowledged unless you are beyond the 17 months point.

Where did you get the notion that older applicants are placed at the bottom of the pile ?
The CIC website says that applications are processed " in order of receipt "
Have you...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland
