We did the same, sold up and decided to wing it, can't say it's been a bed of roses, but things are dropping in to place slowly.
You will find that rural schools struggle to find staff and the job...

We used PSS, they wouldn't send it over without an address, but as we knew we would be in Christchurch they gave us a door to door quote and we emailed our address once we had secured a rental.

No, domestic, he went back in January while we waited to see if my job went permanent and applied before it had, so based on my temp visas he is classed as domestic.
