Slingshot internet Global Mode

What is Global Mode?
We don't want your guests being treated like second class citizens just because they are staying in NZ...
Instead we want them to have the same rich online experiences as they do in their own country. Global Mode lets them access their favourite international sites and services from your home Broadband
And suddenly BBC iPlayer is accessible!

This would be great as I am a Slingshot customer, however for some strange reason Google Chrome only works on my laptop with the expat shield connected, otherwise it crashes the router! Wouldn't mind but it's an NZ laptop!

That's very interesting indeed, hopefully Orcon will offer something similar.
The bigger news is Sky losing the English Premiership and a new online channel winning the rights from next season. Every single game for $149. What with this and the new freeview channel launching showing a huge range of English football things are looking bright for some great football nights.

Even though it came up and said my settings were wrong, it actually works. I would have been happy to pay for this service!
