We had my Aunt view the property on our behalf & the estate agent was really helpful. I know how lucky we were to secure when in the UK. Sorry for delay in replying I have just got my phone back....

It's Helensvale for us. We have secured a lovely rental there & we're still in the UK so it can be done. Furniture left today & leave on Fri, can't wait to get away from this miserable weather.

I did submit payslips as evidence and also my oz passport & citizenship documents as I was born here. Hope this helps onesmallvoice.

Hi we are using Letton Percival for our move in a weeks time. We tried to keep the costs down by coming up with a total figure for our shipment, its probably a lot lower than I would insure it here....

If you can get an appointment with a Justice of the Peace its free of charge for them to certify documents. Beats a solicitor any day, not often you get something for nothing. :)

I only sent in a certified copy of our marriage certificate and I wasn't asked for anything else so I think that's all you'll need.

Woops, had to check, its application will be finalized. We have been lucky sold house & moved into my dads which was empty. Worse case scenario we won't be homeless and at least its one less thing...
