Flight costs & deals anyone?
Hi all as you may already know we are currently looking into flights to validate our visas this August.
Question: Are there anygood deals about that anyone can think of? We have found that Emirates are the cheapest at just over £2000 for 2 adults for 2 1/2 weeks. Is this a good price?
Last time we went in 2009, same time of year, it was only £1600 for 2 adults.
Thanks
Matt & Lane

Its not hard to find the best deals, expedia, trailfinders or flightcentre can do the work for you.

If you're going Emirates the promotion code UKARSN1 still works from UK and gets you 10% off I believe, just type it into the promo code box in the fare search engine on their website.

I've used this code twice and the best I got was about £12 off although it's still worth using it.

Re: Flight costs & deals anyone?
A bit of useless info....
I have just received a (very competitive) quote from my local Flight Centre here in Sydney for a complicated booking (long story) otherwise I would have done it online myself. Its for 3 adults and 2 kids going to South Africa for Christmas and comes to just a fraction under $10 000 for us all. Interestingly, I can either pay the $9915.52 with my credit card OR if I pay in cash, the price drops to $9723.00! Who in their right mind will walk into a Flight Centre with a bag containing $9723 in cash. I have only seen that done in the movies!

You should still get the cash price by paying via eftpos. No real need to carry cash
