I’m in the process of gaining registration with CARNA as Alberta have gone much further than BC to removing barriers for IENs. I started the process with them a month ago and I’m only waiting on them...

In my opinion the license to practice should come first. This then gives you something to bring to the visa application. I see it as the foundation.

There are still all sorts of other factors as to why a family will move to Canada. They shouldn’t have to stay out and ignore all the other reasons to move just because a child is autistic

Well said! A child will be just as autistic in Canada as the UK, many other factors determine the feasibility of a family decision to emmigrate.

Yes I mean the express entry system. I looked it up and it states that you have to be under 47, and you need to be licenced to practice the profession for which you are applying under.

Nadine, you'll be eligible for a fast track entry system up to the age of 47. It is claimed that it takes 6 -8 months. But first you need to be licensed with the forementioned registration bodies....
