BC Nurse Salary for UK Nurse with 19 yrs exp
Hi Everyone,
after 6 years, I have decided to resurect this endeavour after abandoning it to move to Channel Islands. Does anyone have an idea of salary for the above? In Vancouver, including shift allowance and annual leave packages. I have a Diploma, which will be topped up to Degree by the time I (would) get there. General nursing rather than a specialist.

Nursing is very much union oriented and places will have a collective agreement so wages may vary a little. It is up to the employer to decide whether to accept your years of experience to what level they will pay you. A rough guess I would be looking at a basic of $57000 being the lowest to $75000 being the highest without allowances for nights and weekends. Try looking at BCNU website for collective agreements
