They rang it on the register, but you really have to wonder. I mean, a postcard? For a card fair enough, but a postcard weighs hardly anything. I may try going to a different post office next time...

I was shocked when, a few days after I arrived here, I went to the post office to buy stamps for postcards to send to the UK. $10 for 10 stamps. For a postcard? That's extortion!
