OK, I have some update. Apparently my CO never received my police clearance certificate and said my application was stalled. I pulled up my sent mails and resent the mail I had sent earlier....

I have no reply from my CO. Its been 12 working days so sent an PLE. I find it a bit wierd. Its like all messages are going in > /dev/null :confused:

Well, in my case there is no progress since 2nd April. The online status has not changed at all and i dont get a reply from my CO about whats going on...:fingerscrossed:

1. When this bill gets passed and comes in effect
2. Who will be affected by this (i.e will it cover applicants who have their medicals and police clearance already...

Im asking this cos i assume that for a bill to get ratified and passed in parliment takes time. And i dont know what approval process and cycle the AU govt operates. Maybe it just takes a long time...
