Merged threads on ASCO code confusion

Hi All,
I would appreciate if someone can clear this confusion.
I have my skill assessment done in ASCO 2231-79 (specialisng in c#), but I am confused where does it matches to an ANZCO code in newly announced SOL?
Also, if it exists in new SOL, do I need to do re-assessment according to new ANZCO?

I did some research on this issue, and come to know that following ANZCO code matches to my ASCO (which i recieved in my skill assessment result)
261111 ICT Business Analyst 2231-79 p Computing Professionals nec
261111 ANZCO also happens to be present in the newly announed SOL.
So does it means that me and others having 2231-79 ASCO in their skill assessment are in new SOL?
Also, what about skill assessment, would that be needed to be done again for new ANZCO?
Many thanks for reading and replying.

Only difference i see in the new SOL is, they have removed specialization and have put general occupations in the list which is good. Software Engineer/Programmer Developer/Analyst Programmer are the same programming positions with the difference in experience. Now those software developers can also apply who works on the technologies which were not listed before.

Hi oliman,
Can you please tell me about the ASCO Code mentioned in your ACS Approval letter. Also what is your specialization?
I have ACS Approval based on ASCO Code : 2231-79(.Net specialist) just like shafaqat has.
Which anzsco code matches to 2231-79(.NET Specialist) ?
Please advice.
Thanks..

Hi guys,
I think, all those have not applied with DIAC yet, should forget what was there on old SOL and start building their cases as per the new SOL, including the fresh assessment from professional bodies (even if they have positive skills assessment or some assessment in process).
Its difficult to compose afresh but the sooner its done, the sooner you will get the visa.
Regards,
Fred, F.
