I beg to differ; the new process is quite different.

Under #9 of their FAQ (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2010/2010-06-26c.asp) is states:

Thanks PPM. That's a significant change and I guess will do away with the 120-day letter process. I wonder what the timelines will look like now. We've all gotten so used to the old one.
