Thanks – Actually the app that I mentioned above is one of the websites that you listed below (Citizenship Counts) I figured this was a good bet as apparently it’s funded by CIC. Good to know...

The rules are different for crown servants that get posted overseas:

Basically, you get treated as if you are still in the UK.
