If we see children that have been given their MMR And Men C-C before...

Re: Canadian Nurses! Advice needed!

I'm in BC, but its pretty much the same here. There are nursing jobs available that are non union (with clinics etc) but any job in the health authority is unionized, even if it is casual.

Cook St village is a good area of the city, and not at all boring. Walk downtown, or to the water at Dallas Road. Airport is approx 40min drive depending on route and time of day.
Our house has...

My husband did in 2009.
PM any questions and I will forward them on. He was in the RN and came over on PR with job offer. It can be done, and others

You can fill in paperwork to get your previous experience recognized, so that you don't start on the...

Re: Parents of UK-born, School-Aged children, vaccines

I am a Public Health Nurse here in Victoria. I know it is different in other provinces, but the process is fundamentally the same. I would suggest contacting your local Public Health Unit and ask to...

Re: Walk-in Clinic - Toronto

Another option is going to a non-profit sexual health clinic. I work at one here in BC, not sure what they are called in Toronto, but we sell contraceptive pills cheaper than at the drug stores.

Re: Victoria, BC

I think it's pretty good, but it does depend on where you're staying/living and what time you are travelling. My kids use it all the time for school/uni, but we are lucky and live on the #11 route...

Re: UK nurse advice needed to register in Alberta

I am registered here, but I applied in 2008 when it was a different process. I was given an interim permit, sat my CRNE exam (passed) and was an RN. I then went on to study for my BSN online. I have...

Re: UK nurse advice needed to register in Alberta

I trained at the RUH in Bath 1987-1990. I was able to get transcripts, even though the school of nursing does not exist anymore , they had been archived at the UWE in Bristol.
I would be more...
