We came over 4 months ago. Le u both my wif and I were prison officers on Scotland. Canadian corrections havent been hiring for. He last 2 years and with jails closing in northern ontario...

Hang in there..... we're coming up on 4 months and its been ups and downs. had it not been for family we'd be out of luck and heading home.

dont worry too much... as stated above...... we moved over bringing our bookcases (not on the original list ,different tent and extra electronics... ipods lappies and a couple of other things) there...

We moved 10 weeks ago and our stuff was already waiting for us when we got here.... it was sitting in Toronto the day we arrived, we arranged to have it delivered to a bonded warehouse/truck...

I've seen that on some of the larger roundabouts in the uk, I tend not to think too much about it now instead just reverse my direction from experience. it's settling down now.. :thumbsup:

Hi Guys,

Finally after nearly two years of waiting (for the flat back in scotland to sell!!) we've made it over.....

So far the week has been pretty relaxed, all or property was waiting for us...

We landed last night at 1600 local time, immigration was a simple and pleasant experience with all our docs being checked and signed in less than 20...

OMG.... it's finally here.... we land tomorrow in toronto at about 2100 scotland time.

haha...... cool... :rofl: cant remember where my log book is so not too sure about flap settings or stall speeds. Been told any landing you walk away from is a goodun! :thumbsup:

my wife and I are going out to land in 3 weeks time..... I'm probably cutting it close but do we really need our medical records at this moment ( we're only staying for a month then coming...
