Thank you Persephone, your answer seems so clear so thank you! Explained all to husband and he agrees yes it makes sense now. We now just have to wait another few weeks to find out whats happening...

yes its a residency visa with travel conditions. CO has said he thinks its only around $160 per application to convert to permanent resident visa 2 yrs down the line.

Thanks Faye. I'l let you know on here once we know. Ours was submitted to Hamilton on 1st August but yes was also sent to Wellington and got the email 10th October, so what's that - 10 / 11 weeks?...

Received documents back from Immigration today, application not yet assigned to anyone, but given time frame of approx 3 months for Residency From Work. :)
