we moved with a 2 year old and a 4 year old. To be honest the 2 year old never really batted an eyelid - night flights were great - meal and then sleep. Our 4 year old was fine on the flights...

Yes - but of course you will need an anti-clockwise filter for the back of the washing machine / dishwasher to cope with the water spinning anti-clockwise on its way down the plug of course!?!?!??!...

I am not too sure about relative costs but what I would say is to bear in mind the gap between you arriving and your stuff. We shipped pretty much everything (apart from wardrobes & fridges/ freezers...

Finally exchanged on the house yesterday; resigned today (only 4 days of work left!); book flights tomorrow (hopefully!).
