We are probably quite lucky, or unlucky whichever way you look at it , in that we don't have much family and the ones we have wouldn't give a stuff if we went, stayed or disappeared through the black...

I would say home school, far from being detrimental it will be an enlightening experience for your daughter and you as well. I home schooled my 11 year old for a year from last September until now...

I have tried to track our container which should have sailed on the 10th August but it states that it is still in Felixstowe, getting a bit concerned now!

We were told that if you take food over they are more likely to inspect your container . Don't know if this is true or not but I was going to take some decaf tea bags and they advised me against it...

That's the next stage completed, container gone, we left our house on Thursday and we are now indoor-camping! We don't have family to go to so we moved next door into our other house which we have...
