This is our last posting from the UK. We leave for NS tuesday morning and will be in our new home in Brookfield by the end of the day :)

Hi, we had a 20ft containter....guess what......we needed an extra 150cubic ft. the container was busting at the seams....fair play to PSS, the boys were great. We now have to wait an extra 4-8 weeks...

pnc check has all records whether charged or not.
you could leave it with just acro but is a risk of being found out and turned down for not reveiling. 50/50 gamble.

hi, an ACRO will come back clean....if you need to show any arrests etc then you need to apply for a PNC record.
PNC checks show up everything even if not convicted or charged.

Hi, a certified person is someone like the following :

doctor, solicitor, pilot, teacher, lisenced engineer etc

there is a list somewhere on the cic website.

Their right with the increase so book sharpish while prices are low.
We used PSS and so far have been good, i managed to knock them down alot from our original quote and included insurance....

Good news our TWP & Study visa's have arrived this morning !!!:thumbsup:

They took exactly 6 weeks even after asking for more info.

So removals arrive on Thursday (16th) and we all fly out to...

20ft container anywhere from £3500 upwards then you have insurance on top of that.

For the dog again can be anywhere from £600 upwards...but most around £1000

A friend of mine who contracts uses one to phone his family. as long as you have the software and pay the tesco bill. not tried it myself though.
easier to use skype or msn though...both have call...
