Thought I'd post our shipping quotes from Glasgow to Halifax NS.
Sole use of a 20ft container, door to door service.

PSS £3150 - insurance 3% of contents value
Doree Bonner £3600 - insurance 3% of contents value
White & Co £3350 - insurance 3% of contents value
Anglo Pacific £3500 - insurance 2.8% of contents value

I also believe all these prices are negotiable, as with insurance.

you will be able to knock them down abit, but they might come back with shipping line increase = £249, i know because it happened to us with PSS

Hi,
Their right with the increase so book sharpish while prices are low.
We used PSS and so far have been good, i managed to knock them down alot from our original quote and included insurance.
PSS were not the cheapest but had had good reviews from others especially travelling to NS.
Our stuff sets sail on 20th and arrives on 7th May, so a fast one too !!

We are paying just over £3k sole 20 ft container and 2.5% insurance.
