Mind you this grater was really sharp and a treat to use - just possibly too good at it's job. It's one of those that's about €20 and comes with a protective plastic cover - much better...

I'll give a go. I can't remember the price but I don't think it was much. Had problems with the last risotto I made - grated a piece of my finger into the cheese and used a jar of mushrooms in oil...

I've seen a packet mix next to the risotto rice in the supermarkets. It's called (I think) Zafferano). Has any of you tried this - is it actually to be added into risotto and is it good? Thanks

Need front and back numberplates with european flag symbol on?

Our UK car has standard UK numberplates and neither the front or back plate has the european flag symbol on. We're about to bring it over to Italy and were talking about what needed to be done...

There's normally 3 cafes in Piazza San Marco, all with outside tables, white-coated waiters and a three piece band - the one we went to was the first outside cafe you would come to on the right hand...

Changing area of residency

At the moment we live in Padova and have our residency and Carte d'Identita for our address here.

If we want to move to another area such as Vicenza or Turin is it an easy process to re-register...
