I actually knew Tucker, he lived a few doors down from my nan in Micawber Court, just off the City Road in London. He was a really nice kid, about a year younger than me. Wonder what he's doing now?

Thanks for that info CH, interesting to see what people are up to once they dissapear from our screens. I loved Grange Hill as a kid, better than all the American rubish my kids watch, with the exception of Drake and Josh, which I love. Just don't tell the kids!

I goggled grangehill a while back, in one of those rare nostalgia moments that you get. I still remember the fist episode and thought it was the best tv show going as a kid. I had a shock when i found out it was still going and tucker was the headmaster! Would you adam and eve it!

and let's not forget big daddy. My gran loved him. She'd shout at the tv. Priceless - if we could only go back for a day. I used to watch the saturday night double horror bill on bbc2 with her as well. I really miss her

I used to watch The Hammer House of Horror on Saturday nights.

I still remember one where all the pipes burst and went mad in a house where a party was being held and blood squirted out of all of them.
