[QUOTE=Largo;7457722]Hi Novo,
I went to Dame Allan's Girls' School too -- 1945 - 1952, then on to Darlington Training College, part of the University of Durham Institute of Education. Taught in Byker, as I said , got married then on to Alberta. If you would like to pm me I would really like to catch up on Dame Allan's etc.[/QUOTE

My reply seemed to get split up. I would really like to continue with this conversation.

I bought a bar of chocolate today and at home I discovered it was made by Needlers. I thought "that rings a bell" and I googled. Sure enough it was Choc from England. I looked at the wrapper in more detail and it was from Northamptonshire.
More googling suggests the company is now Ashbury.
But I wonder if there was a particular choccy bar or something that was only by Needlers. I'm sure there was just one product that was Needlers that I used to buy. Anyone have any ideas?

My mother who is in here 80's calls custard - cremola?
This was a bit of a family joke as my mother is well known for making up words and coming out with really odd phrases. The other day we noticed a tin of custard which was made by a company cremola
