- Learning about guineas in maths class
- Learning logs, sin and cosin on a slide rule
- Andy Pandy and Muffin the Mule
- Playing out meant playing out, for hours, without parental supervision
- silver six shooters with caps, bows and "arrers,"
- doing some light shopping for my mum when I was only 8
Getting the cane at school, and the strap again when I got home!

I dunno....I'm sure there were ups as well as downs.
Fred the tortoise....then they had to paint an A on the end as it was female.
Adventure Weekly on kids TV.....the kids who ran their own newspaper, reporting an adventure they'd just had.

Let's see, there were 20 shillings, with 12 pennies in a shilling, thats 20 x 12 = Oh my god there were 240 penies in a pound. Jeez the pound ain't what it was.I was going to say 12 times tables and then 20 shillings in a pound,... or something!!!
