I was never a great fan of Victor, Tiger(?)....Valiant(?)...was there a Lion too?
But each one did have something I was moderately interested in and I used to read them at the Barber's when I was getting my "couple of inches all around and well thinned out on top."

Speaking of The Barber....the straw that he used to singe the hairline at the back. The Calandar on the wall with the brush covering certain parts. We used to push the brush aside while "getting our coats" from the peg....even if we didn't have a coat.

Beetle Drives anyone?

It used to be Oor Wullie one year and the next was the Broons. I used to get them every year and even the wife would get me them up until only a couple of years ago! A point to note is I would read it from cover to cover on X mas day!

Airbrushed porn mags. I miss them. They left far more to the imagination.

They were air brushed?

I'm devastated.

Either that or I started to go blind at an early age, for some reason.

Not at all I thought I was looking at perfection, no skin blemishes, no zits, nothing.

Now I'm told it was all erased by someone with an airbrush.

Good god someone might make this technology available to the masses and then how will we know if photographs are real or not.

Who remembers of the Black and white TV with the massive wooden frame and you pulled the knob out to switch it on . . . 5 minutes later there was a picture. Then to change the channel you turned the knob!
My daughters think I have lossed the plot and I am making this up!
