oh dear, before it comes my way for our perfromance, at least citys goals were good ones, what the hell was that first one all about, how far out, how many times did it bobble, how many people watched it go past. that must take the award for the slowest goal from long range.
utd, struggled, and i do not like the excuse queiroz gave of the international cocking us up. giggs should have took his chance first half and tevez should know better to run a mile offside at this level and think he can score. anyway, as it stands liverpool 0 chelsea 0 does us a favour.
whats this about king kev wanting to sign Thierry Henry, you cannot be serious.

King Kev will be gone before the end of the season as he is a loose cannon:blink: why do you think they got Dennis Wise in.

I don't where you picked up this silly notion. Mind you, looking at our fixtures for the rest of the season, and noting that the transfer deadline has been and gone, it's hard to feel any great confidence about still being in the Prem next season.

No matter, they'll still have 52,000 in the stands every home game.

<and we're still ahead of the mackem scum>

They were happy bunnies yesterday:p I like keegan but he looked like a frozen rabbit in the headlights yesterday, I cannot see him lasting more than a couple of seasons at best.

Hey Novo. Good luck for the ManUre match this weekend. Damage limitation in some respect, but you lot are at home so hopefully you can give them a tough game.

Oh, and if you can make our life easier for our FA Cup game against them next week, we'd appreciate it.

Hi Hook: I think you should check the schedules. My understanding is that your lot are off to Old Trafford Saturday this weekend. We're waiting to completely ruin their season the week after that.

Yup, just checked. Your game is Sat. 16th at 12 noon EST. It's on FSWC and Setanta.

Viel Gluck.

Damn. Either too much (can't be as i haven't had any) or not enough alcohol. Either that or I'm going senile.

We'll try to soften them up for you then.

OK sounds good. You knock the f**kers out of the Cup, and we'll (do our pathetic best) to kill their Prem ambitions.

Deal?

i see as ususal the more mediocre teams feel the need to conspire in order to defeat the mighty reds. i really have some sympathy for you, it must be terrible to do nothing year in year out, becoming so bitter and twisted in the process, consumed by envy as utd do so well.
my prediction, utd will narrowly beat arsenal, 0-0 HT, 1-0 utd FT. Newcastle we will trounce, 2-0 HT, 4-1 FT.

If you think you are endearing either yourself or your football team to anyone with this sort of humourless comment, think again.

Likely right. But think how many people will be dead chuffed if you're wrong.

i've no idea what the last bit means, but you do seem to be terribly touchy on this subject. why would loads of people be chuffed, i can understand your supporters, or arsenal, natural to beat an arch rival or a team higher up the league, but everyone else?

as to the first bit, simply a case of some light hearted banter, nothing more, unnecessary to be so harsh.

Can this day get any better?

Liverpool's season will be over when Inter Milan Crush them next week.

Bit of an upset that.

4-0 in the Big Game. Do you think ManUre might be a bit cocky next weekend?

We deserved to lose, I'm unhappy to admit. Our defence was non-existant, our midfield was poor and our offense wasn't offensive enough. I know we had injuries and were looking towards the AC Milan game next week, but Man Utd ran us in circles. We were lucky Lehmann was our best player today (how I thought I'd never say that), it could have been 10-0 to Man Utd.

Ah, everyone has an off day.

<when we will have our next on day? Saturday?>

And good luck to all the Prem teams in Europe this week (even ManUre, but not Chel$hite)

To be honest, me too.

I suppose that it would be prudent to let this thread die now. But, for the record, and given that Hook is scheduled for the Yard tomorrow, let me repeat that I'm glad there are a handful of even more woeful teams below us still.

There are some woeful ones above you too who have maybe been just a little luckier in their results this season. You're not in any danger of relegation this season, but I bet King Kev is getting a lot of noise from the boss.

Hope Liverpool have a Champion's League hangover when they play you next weekend.

We'll see. We'll see. Job one is to survive this season and then spend oodles of Mike Ashley's money on a bunch of proper footballers.

I agree. Wherever you finish this season is an improvement on Allardyce.

Who's joining Derby though? I think Fulham don't have enough left to get out of the relegation zone, so it's one out of either Bolton, Reading, Birmingham, Wigan or Sunderland... All of whom have to play Arsenal between now and the rest of the season except for Birmingham.

Well, that would make us both happy. As to the Championship? That obviously wouldn't be good at all, but we've been there before. As have most clubs at some point.

If those predictions are anything to go by, but NUFC instead lose all their remaining games (including 0-22 to Sunderland), they only just get relegated!
