Thank you, thank you. King Kevin II will be pleased with that. Butt, Geremi, Owen and Martins!

We're mathematically safe now (I think). Reading (h), Pompey (a) and then the Mackems (h) for season bragging rights. Bring it on!!!

To be honest rae, Nicky Butt does get the job done now and again. I quite like him (given his age) but he's been very inconsistent this season. There again which Toon player hasn't?

well that was his failing at utd, but on his day, one of the best, sorry to see him go, and sorry he did not get more of a chance for england, but there you go. you will certainly never need to ask him to try. remember watching training matches at altrincham and stockport, reminded me of a yorkshire terrier, non stop and ferocious.

Cheers mate, so much to do in such little time.

At least I get the chance of picking a successful hockey team when we move out there, rather than my unfruitful birth right to NUFC!!!

That rules out the Toronto Maple leafs then!:p

I guess the nearest teams to Halifax would be the Boston Bruins at 1125km and 11hrs+ or the Montreal Canadiennes at 1245km and 12hrs 30m+.

Halifax Mooseheads play in the QMJHL. If it is anything life the Western Hockey League it should be worth watching. (a bit cheaper too.)

I was going to say that it doesn't have to be an NHL team. ;):)

Major junior hockey is a very watchable game more so than the NHL most nights.

These kids (up to 20 year olds) are playing to impress the NHL scouts so they play pretty hard every game. Unlike some of the NHL types who seem to just show up when they feel like it because they have that big fat contract in their pockets.

Not jealous at all jimmy. Your lot played very well indeed. I have no hesitation in saying that Cronny's header was wonderful.

Those damn Scousers played a half decent game. Oh well, we've got them in the league at our place again this weekend then again in the CL second leg next week.

Nice to see Fenerbahce do well against Chavski.

I watched most of the Arse-Pool match and although you gooners were the better team, Pool have the edge for the 2nd leg. I'm basically neutral anyway.

As to Chel$hite, pity it wasn't 5-1.
