Oh wait! Would you look at that, he's going nowhere. Like I said! Even with bookies giving ya 1/4!

Hope you like Mark Hughes? =)

Why's Redknapp bitching about lack of funds when he's just stuck a £9m bid in for Frederico Guedes of Lyon!?

Hmm. You're 'appy. I'm 'appy.

Mark Hughes has already said no (we're told).

Get on the blower to Keggy I reckon.

Tbh I think it was the backlash from the Geordies and his Missus wanting to stay in Sandbanks that swung it all!!!

In all seriousness, who's going to take this job who's English?

Another slight setback today against Moo.

I don't care whether he's English or not. I care he has a track record and a bit of common sense.

Word is Hughes is back in play. He'd do.

You never know, eh?

Well done for holding out for 48 mins. Shame they scored 6 in the 42 mins after that.

I know. Bloody defending from set pieces let us down again, along with a lack of putting the ball in the back of the net.

Talking of which, L'il Mickey did just that on about the 40 minute mark but (yet another) totally incompetent linesman flagged him offside.

It all might have turned out different but for that. (8-1 for example).

At least he'll only get broken in a friendly sort of way.

'Arry's lot couldn't even beat the mackems today. Thank god he's staying away from Toon.

E-mail this to a friend (i like this bit)

Man Utd 6-0 Newcastle

Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates his hat-trick against Newcastle
Cristiano Ronaldo's first hat-trick for Manchester United sent them to the Premier League summit as they destroyed managerless Newcastle at Old Trafford.
The winger's free-kick broke the deadlock after 49 minutes and Carlos Tevez quickly tapped in a second.

Ronaldo capped a stunning four-man move for the third and Rio Ferdinand volleyed in a fourth after 85 minutes.

He sealed his treble via a deflection, and Newcastle's Alan Smith saw red for dissent after Tevez's disputed sixth.

sorry i've not got on sooner, busy celebrating. whilst i am on, didn't i mention a change of manager for you the last time we spoke? next words of wisdom, you'll get venebles with shearer next.

I was expec ting you lot to score a lot earlier than the 49th minute. Were you waiting to give the Geordie's a little false hope lol.

Venables doesn't need the money and Shearer shouldn't do it as his inevitable failure will turn him from hero to zero in the Toon minds (or what's left of them).

Hughes has "refused to rule himself out"

Houllier's getting a close look.

Keegan also sounds interested.

nufc.com refer in passing to a Keegan/Shearer dream team.
