I think it was. I think he mis-spelled Brighton.

Kevin Blackwell, the Sheffield United manager, was magnanimous in defeat. "It's a terrific achievement on Newcastle's part," he said. "Congratulations to them."

As a former manager of Leeds United, Blackwell was asked how Newcastle had averted catastrophe after relegation whereas the Elland Road club had continued floundering. "They kept a core of good players," he said. "They kept players with bollocks who showed a collective strength. It takes courage to get a big club promoted and Newcastle's players have shown balls." -Guardian

There you have it. You can't play the game without balls.

Barca were the better team, and our injuries didn't help us.

At least we're sure of qualification for next season's CL, unlike either of the Scouse teams...... :p Neither of them look like they're gonna be playing in Europe next season.

They were spectacularly good. Could've beaten anybody playing like that.

Good luck next year. :)

I can just hear Wenger at the press conference. "It was not fair eh? That Messi, he is too good and he shouldn't be allowed to play against us."

You must be hearing things. I've never heard Wenger say anything like that.
