Whatever next?

I fear you wont be able to say that again on Sunday...A must win for liverpool in pursuit of a lost cause...

I wonder if the two will meet again after that in the europavaseleague final.

Agreed.

So LFC go on to win the Euro Vase, MUFC have already secured the Mickey Mouse Cup - it'll have been another magnificent season for these two top clubs.

Wouldn't that be a bit inbred?

Or do you mean Ure? They were daft enough to take Mickey off our books of course.

Andy Cole, there's another one.

All we've got from you lot is Nicky Butt and Danny Simpson.

And several humiliating thrashings.

Revenge is best served cold.

you know i always liked butt and was genuinely disappointed when he left, alan smith not so much. i think he has done a job for you, but at a price. remains to be seen whether he can continue it. depends whether you want to look at his staying is due to a lack of opportunity elsewhere for the same money, or a real desire to see the club promoted. i would like to think the latter but who knows.
i would have thought someone like bolton, west ham or stoke would snap him up if you sold.

I think it's generally assumed that Butt will retire now. He's more or less said so himself. Joshing aside, he's been pretty decent.

Alan Smith? Not so much. Although I've always thought of him primarily as a Leeds remnant.
