Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
That reminds me (the talk of Sunderland), I saw about 20 mins of the Man City match on the telly this afternoon and Adam Johnson looked like a player worthy enough to be in the World Cup squad. Capello, are you reading this?
I saw his goal against Sunderland earlier in the season and that was good too. |

Evidently, Sunderland is better than Newcastle. |

Time investment + constant dissapointment = supporting Spurs
 I have nothing further to add today due to a combination of embarrasment and depression. |

We should have had two proper penalties plus a perfectly puckka goal that was disallowed because the ref was ******. We woz robbed. Spurs is the best team ever. I know we don't learn from nothing but we is still the only team in England that is worth anything, anyway. |

Tottenham 0-2 Portsmouth Play up Pompey. You may be going down, but you're going to fight til the end. |

It's a sad season indeed when you've only got one more win in the whole of the Premiership season than you have in the FA Cup. And Pompey's administrator is having to ask for special dispensation to get a Uefa club licence for next season, since they'll get a Europa League place even if Chelsea take the Cup. Unsurprising, really, as having finances in good order (and filing accounts) is a requisite of the Uefa licence. |
